MULTIVAR MHR TEAM 2
With the MULTIVAR MHR TEAM 2 variator, don't be surprised if your scooter acquires a snap, a linearity of gear changes, a greater mechanical "ease" when driving at high speeds and a consistency of performance unknown to the basic version!
TECHNICAL NOTES:
The bushing is the contact point between the half-pulley and the variator hub and must slide radially and axially without undergoing deformations.
With this in mind, we have improved the entire system by using casehardened and ground steel bushings, both on the internal and external diameter, and, thanks to the use of 2 oil seals, the lubricating grease present in a tank laps the walls of the hub-bush coupling, ensuring minimum friction in any condition, as well as always ensuring maximum efficiency performance.
The 22 mm variator hub has also been improved in design: holes have been made that join the internal and external chambers for the grease to flow and increase lubrication.
This technology also allows for a reduction in tolerances and, consequently, all coupling clearances are perfected and optimised.
Inside the variator kit there is a movable half-pulley with a diameter of 99.5 made of a special die-cast aluminium alloy.
The contact surface between the pulley and the belt has been finished with a diamond tool with extreme precision to ensure a constant coefficient of friction, calculated to prevent the belt from slipping and, at the same time, to avoid premature wear.
In order to meet all the requirements of the countless possible calibrations in a racing vehicle, depending on the tracks and the specific engine setup, Multivar MHR is supplied with two sets of 6 roller kits and a counter spring in pre-hardened steel alloyed with Chrome-Silicon with anticlockwise winding (racing). Furthermore, different springs of the same class with differentiated load are available as optional extras.
