The new and improved MK2 version of the Stage6 R/T Racing brake caliper. Made in Germany engineering meets the highest braking performance. Available in orange, black and hard anodized (extra scratch resistant).
MK2 CALIPER IMPROVEMENTS
The main focus in the development of the new Stage6 R/T MK2 caliper was on increasing stiffness and optimising smoothness. In addition, ease of use has been significantly improved by integrating a dedicated bleed screw, which makes bleeding the brakes child's play. This makes the bleeding process a breeze! Finally, as if that wasn't enough, the new design features a 20% larger friction surface.
Looking closely at the MK2 caliper, you will notice that Stage6 has developed a special return spring that returns the pistons to their resting position immediately after braking. The result is maximum wheel freedom under all circumstances.
The increased rigidity results in a well-defined pressure point. Whether on the road or on the track, the caliper ensures even safer handling and braking can be delayed until the last moment.
The caliper is a perfect match for the Stage6 R/T S6-1400401 / S61400400 brake pumps, but can also be used with other aftermarket brake pumps or with the original brake pump. The radial mounting of the brake caliper allows for easy and stable installation!
Note: When combined with older caliper adapters, some light machining of the adapter may be required due to the new caliper shape.

Dedicated bleed screw on the back of the caliper for easy bleeding
M8 bolts, 82 mm hole spacing
The brake caliper is supplied with street pads. However, we recommend using racing pads (sintered metal or ceramic) to achieve maximum braking performance. The difference with the optional pads is significant: You can expect an increase in braking power of up to 50%!

Our advice: After bleeding, secure the brake lever with a cable tie and keep the circuit under pressure for 1-2 hours or simply overnight. This will allow you to refine the bleeding process and significantly improve the pressure point.
