How to get the most out of the air-cooled vertical Minarelli engine, improving both acceleration and recovery?
The Athena R&D department has developed the new complete Racing Athena exhaust in steel with carbon silencer specifically for legendary applications such as MBK Booster, Yamaha BW's or the legendary Aprilia SR .
This scooter muffler has been crafted with artisan precision and maximum attention to detail to ensure correct expulsion of the gases produced by the combustion of fuel in the engine, thus avoiding fluctuations within the exhaust that would compromise the performance of the scooter.
The result is an exhaust that allows for an increase in both torque and acceleration .
AESTHETICS AND DESIGN
The design is unique: this Booster muffler is made of the highest quality steel with a thickness of 0.8 mm to offer maximum performance to every scooter model. To ensure maximum respect for the geometries, the muffler is made with over 18 sections hand-welded together , and includes a carbon silencer to ensure lightness and at the same time maximum resistance.
The fixing brackets are instead made of AISI316 steel, which guarantees sealing, resistance and ease of cleaning. This steel is in fact stainless and does not rust.
THE NEW ATHENA ECOSYSTEM FOR NEVER BEFORE SEEN PERFORMANCE
The complete Racing exhaust has been developed and tested on the braked bench, also together with the Athena Ø47.6 mm Big Bore cylinder kit with head for air-cooled vertical Yamaha-Minarelli engines and the range of Athena accessories specific for these applications, such as air filters, the Big Valve System , the PWK carburettor and the racing crankshaft.
With this configuration, entirely developed by Athena, it is possible to obtain up to 19 HP .
All Athena items that lead to an increase in displacement and power above those allowed by the highway code of the user's country are intended exclusively for competitive use. Athena declines all responsibility for any use of the product contrary to national regulations.
Products intended for competitive-sporting use and which are used in high-performance or high-rev applications are excluded from the guarantee of conformity, unless there is an obvious case of defect.
