Automatic clutch with variable calibration
Delta Clutch was born in the racing environment as an irreplaceable tool.
On the track, it allowed the mechanics of the Malossi teams to quickly and accurately calibrate the automatic clutches of the scooters depending on the type of circuit and the type of engine setup. The perfect functioning of the automatic system is essential for a good start from a standstill and for exiting tight curves, when the speed of the vehicle drops considerably. The advantages that these clutches offer compared to those of standard scooters are enormous, even for a road vehicle, as they allow sophisticated tuning in a very wide range of engine rpm.
Delta Clutch is offered for sale with a sports setup together with a series of optional extras that allow for a racing setup at the highest levels.
Delta Clutch, from competitions to city and sports use: these clutch units protected by an international patent were designed by Malossi, which directly takes care of their production and the choice of materials.
After assembly, each clutch group is balanced on a special computer-controlled machine within values of the order of 3/10 of a gram.
Delta Clutch is supplied assembled and calibrated for sports-road use with three white clips made of 1.6 mm diameter wire.
Two spring kits are supplied as optional extras: for road use, item 29 8746, and for competition use, item 29 8747, which allow the calibration range of the Delta Clutch to be greatly expanded.
As everyone knows, the behavior of the clutch only affects recovery and not speed, so there are no approval problems for these devices.
