TRANSMISSIONS are one of the key components in a scooter. The Malossi MHR Aluminum Over Range kit is designed to improve the efficiency and power of the engine, ensuring longevity and flexibility in adjustments.
The heart of the new TRANSMISSION kit remains the Malossi Multivar variator, in constant evolution, which is accompanied by two sets of rollers to adjust the operation of the TRANSMISSION according to your needs. Given the vast choice of variator rollers available in the catalogue, the customizations are practically endless.
Inside the variator, the roller sliding ramps have been redesigned to maximize the balance of the TRANSMISSIONS. Malossi was not satisfied and also revised the hub which, in addition to chrome plating and grinding, is subjected to a vibratory finishing treatment, one of the most recent and avant-garde mirror finishing techniques.
For the first time, the fixed Ventilvar half-pulley is also supplied with the Malossi Multivar MHR Aluminum variator.
On the other side of the crankcase is the new Malossi Rear Pulley System MHR Aluminum torque corrector, now in aluminum to increase lightness and resistance. The pulley is riveted to the hubs for maximum grip and the tolerance between the hub and the bushing has been reduced to a roughness level of just Ra.04.
The Torque Driver is made of aluminum, a material with exceptional heat dissipation properties, and has been subjected to a micro-perforation treatment to increase the grip of the TRANSMISSION belt and to keep it clean and efficient, expelling the parts vitrified by the heat from the holes.
The Malossi XK Belt TRANSMISSION belt, based on the technology adopted for belts intended for maxi-scooters, is characterised by an extremely small section and is intended for two-stroke racing scooters, guaranteeing grip and consistent performance.
