The thermal group that has broken records, lowering the lap time in almost all the stages of the Italian Open Cup and breaking the 6-second barrier in acceleration races. The modular structure allows assembly using bases, in the total absence of through-hole studs, on various engines. The geometry of the transfer ports and exhaust is therefore no longer limited as happens on conventional thermal groups, allowing extreme machining, in particular in the BigBore version characterized by a 52mm bore. Particular attention during the development phase was dedicated to the cylinder thermal. The head, entirely CNC machined, is fixed in 5 points. Each of these anchors is thermally stabilized by its own cooling cheek. The critical points near the studs, which often lead to seizures, have thus been eliminated. The base, also CNC machined, is fixed to the engine crankcase, housing the thermal group via 4 external studs. In the case of Minarelli engines, the base also has the task of cooling the thermal unit from under the exhaust port, leading to a further increase in power. For the best-selling Racing exhausts, the appropriate flanges and manifolds will be provided, alternatively an optional adaptation kit can be used.
