DETAILS OF THE STAGE6 CAST IRON KIT FOR AM6 86 - 88
The StreetRace AM6 cylinder equipment includes:
- 1x cast iron cylinder 86 - 88 cc d.50mm, 5 transfer ports and oval exhaust (d.28mm),
- 1x Complete double-segment piston d.50 mm,
- 1x One-piece high compression aluminum head,
- 1x Gasket kit (base and cylinder head),
- 1x 5mm base plate shims,
- Screws and bolts.
The 88 Stage 6 StreetRace kit is made of cast iron and perfectly combines reliability and performance. It will accompany you on your daily motorcycle trips.
With a displacement of 88cc thanks to its 50mm piston and its 45mm stroke / 90mm connecting rod, it must be fitted with a long-stroke crankshaft!
THE STAGE6 STREETRACE SOURCE AM6 OFFERS YOU THE CHOICE OF TWO ENGINE CAPACITIES: 86 OR 88 CC:

Kit 86 Stage6 Fonte AM6 ==> Standard version, must be installed in combination with a 44mm crankshaft without spacer .

Kit 88 Stage6 Ghisa AM6 ==> 88cc version, it will need to be installed in combination with a 45mm crankshaft stroke - 90mm connecting rod with the basic wedge .
HOW TO GET THE MOST OUT OF THE 88 STAGE 6 AM6 KIT?
To get the most out of the 86-88 AM6 cast iron kit and therefore obtain maximum performance, it is recommended to combine it with at least: a 26 mm PWK type carburetor ; a valve gearbox such as the Vforce3 ; a racing range exhaust such as the Stage6 Streetrace low pass ; a reinforced clutch and, why not, an internal rotor ignition such as the MVT Digital Direct.
MORE DATA ON THE 88 STREET RACE AM6:
- Since the outer mold is based on a replica of the original cylinder, it bears the annotation "49cm3". But we want to reassure you: it is indeed an 86-88cc.
- To mount the 88cc on a 90mm connecting rod you need to use longer pins (M7x120mm ),
- Depending on the year of your engine, you may need to mill the connecting rod passage (see instructions).
- The assembly of the cylinder kit is very simple and does not require any milling of the crankcase.
- As for running-in, a minimum of 300 km with a 3% oil mixture will ensure robustness and durability.
