The new generation BIG BORE engine. Through-hole studs, only for liquid-cooled scooters (7 transfer ports and exhaust crosspiece - 1-segment piston - detachable head - boring of the original or C-One Malossi crankcase required - crankshaft with connecting rod different from the original).
Derived directly from the seven-port technology that powers the revolutionary Flanged Mount, the BIG BORE Testa Rossa cylinders represent the latest success achieved thanks to the commitment and research that Malossi has continued to dedicate to the engines intended for the original Piaggio and Yamaha crankcases, and, with their unprecedented displacement of 94 cc, they make a significant leap forward in the performance of the BIG BORE family.
Externally almost indistinguishable from their flanged counterpart, the BIG BORE Testa Rossa features a through-pipe layout compatible with both the original engines and the Malossi C-One crankcase. The total similarity with the Flanged Mount continues inside, thanks to the renowned seven-port and double exhaust port configuration, with the only difference being the limits imposed by the internal passage of the studs which influences the size and development of the exhaust.
The head is once again detachable, with new internal profiles specifically designed to increase the torque and the feeling of the engine, now decidedly more brilliant and even more progressive. The head cover is in forged aluminum, red anodized and turned on numerically controlled machines with extremely high precision.
