3115829 MALOSSI CYLINDER HEAD 132CC D.57,5 VESPA ET3 Primavera 125 2T ALUMINUM TH.15
Description
Vespa ET3 125 Cylinder:
THE NEW LEGEND
Malossi is proud to present to its public the total rebirth of an authentic legend, one of the longest-running and most successful projects that have ever been associated with our brand: the new and incredible cylinder for Vespa ET3 125. This time completely in aluminum.
The history of this thermal group begins in 1982, when, for the first time in a cast iron cylinder with this segment, an O-ring was used as a sealing gasket between the head and the cylinder, a refined solution that still represents the state of the art today.
Malossi took a blank sheet of paper to rewrite its project, conceiving it from scratch from the roots, innovating and presenting to its public a cylinder that rightfully enters the glorious family of MHR thermal groups.
Aluminium has replaced cast iron and the reed valve seat has been completely redesigned, a true revolution capable of solving the shortcomings of the original Vespa intake system since 1982, and is now equipped with a crosspiece to ensure greater stability for the piston ring.
The displacement increases to 130 cubic centimetres, while the six transfer ports are the result of the know-how and technology acquired over decades of competition in the world of scooters and applied for the first time in history to a Vespa cylinder capable of reaching extremely high power and revs of up to 11,000 rpm.
The exhaust has also been completely redesigned and now features a booster layout, a racing solution that guarantees a large surface area for the expulsion of burnt gases, reducing piston ring fatigue.
Malossi philosophy has always been to provide a complete and powerful plug and play kit. Therefore, the complete re-edition of the reed manifold assembly for the cylinder specific for this thermal group could not be missed (code = 2016319 - only for VESPA ET3 PRIMAVERA).
Massive studies and simulations on fluid dynamics carried out with futuristic software have allowed the manifolds to be perfectly connected, obtaining a practically completely rectilinear assembly, capable of guaranteeing the best possible passage from the carburetor to the intake, all while remaining perfectly inside the Vespa body.
The piston is also new, made specifically for this cylinder, now super light, single-ring and with very high performance.
