Technical description
Gearbox cover for scooters and for Minarelli Yamaha 50cc engines, designed for competitions and for a sporty customization of the standard vehicle.
Malossi, in a complete overhaul of the transmission components, has drastically reduced friction by replacing the original die-cast crankcase with sliding friction movements with a gravity-cast crankcase equipped with special bearings.
This crankcase, machined with super-precise machine tools, robust and lightweight, is able to withstand the extremely high workloads typical of competitions.
Perfectly interchangeable with the original and complete with all accessories, the Roller Crankcase allows you to reduce friction by 4%.
Technical Features and Components
- Reinforced gear case in primary silicon aluminum alloy, gravity cast, hardened and tempered.
- Enlarged secondary shaft seats to accommodate no. 2 special roller bearings - 1 increased load ball bearing - 1 oil seal ring.
