Cod: M5715844 Complete Engine Crankcase Malossi MHR C-one, Piaggio ZIP / NRG
MHR C-one has been designed and prepared for:
- Fit both drum and disc brake solutions.
- To be mounted in replacement of the original engine both on short and long wheelbase. The position of the shock absorber attachment, in fact, has been studied to satisfy both solutions.
- The assembly of both cylinders with through studs and cylinders with flange fixing.
- The use of electric cooling pump, to eliminate the power absorption of the traditional mechanical water pump.
- The elimination of the automatic mixer.
- For mounting the vacuum fuel pump.
- The new large reed valve, designed using sophisticated 3D fluid dynamics simulation programs.
- Fits all current Malossi products.
Malossi changes the rules of the game and raises the performance level of modern racing scooters once again.
The result of extreme choices, the C-One crankcase marks a radical break with the traditional set-up of the scooters for which it is intended and finally provides a technically cutting-edge structure ready for the installation of the latest generation racing components.
Until now, racing scooters could only be equipped with the original engine crankcases, designed to handle a handful of horsepower and adapted to face the stress of competition with 70 cubic centimeter engines and power outputs of around 26 horsepower.
Today, however, Malossi, leader in innovation, is changing the rules of the game by proudly presenting the C-one engine crankcase to its loyal international audience.
C-one, designed in Calderara di Reno at the Malossi headquarters, one of the most advanced research, development and production centres for special parts for engines and scooters, is the Malossi dream that takes shape: to produce the most innovative racing component for scooters ever. It began with the elimination of the automatic mixer and the traditional mechanical water pump, to reduce dispersion to a minimum. It continued by creating the predisposition for the installation of a rear disc and drum braking system and adding the possibility of adopting a vacuum fuel pump. The seat intended to house the reed valve has been significantly modified: exploiting all the possibilities offered by modern three-dimensional fluid dynamic simulation software, Malossi technicians have identified the ideal measurements and dimensions. As if having to draw the ideal engine crankcase on a blank sheet of paper, completely breaking away from the past, Malossi has introduced, alongside the positions of the original seats of the through stud bolts, a hole for the new born among the thermal units of the TeamFactory family, with flange fixing and short stud bolts. This solution opens the doors to the possibility of designing completely new cylinders. Build a new engine, customize your racing scooter, choose the most prestigious parts from the Malossi catalog! We will be ready to provide you, if necessary, with all the necessary technical assistance!
