Malossi is pleased to present two new gear covers for scooters and Piaggio 50 cc engines, designed for competitions and for sporty customization of the standard vehicle.

Malossi, in a complete revision of the TRANSMISSION organs, has drastically reduced friction, replacing the original die-cast crankcase with sliding friction movements, with two gravity-cast crankcases, equipped with special bearings.

These new crankcases, machined with super-precise machine tools, robust and lightweight, are able to withstand the extremely high workloads typical of competitions.

Perfectly interchangeable with the originals and complete with all accessories, the Roller Crankcases allow you to reduce friction by 4% in the 2514521 MHR version and by 6% in the 2514603 MHR TEAM version. These latter crankcases, in particular, require the assembly of the Roller Gear Malossi secondary gears:

Reinforced gear cases in primary silicon-aluminium alloy, gravity cast, hardened and tempered.

Secondary shaft seats enlarged to accommodate 2 bearings.

No. 2 special roller bearings.

No. 1 heavy duty ball bearing.

No. 1 oil seal ring.

The Roller Crankcase, Piaggio II series, are alongside the gear cases for horizontal Minarelli Yamaha 50 cc engines present in the Malossi catalogue and offer the same technologies and characteristics of smoothness and robustness.
