RS 24/10 SHOCK ABSORBER
MALOSSI is pleased to present the sale to the public of a new version of shock absorbers for scooters from the RS24 line.
This new shock absorber, designed and created specifically for scooter competitions, is at the top of the range of shock absorbers specifically for scooters.
It was created based on the specifications given by the Malossi experience department to Paioli and subsequently tested extensively on the Italian tracks.
These shock absorbers are characterized by the presence of an external compensation tank for the fluids that operate in it, in fact the oil present in the shock absorber is put in communication, via a high resistance tube with the tank where there is a floating diaphragm for separation between the oil and the high pressure nitrogen gas.

Shock absorber rod Ø 14 mm in 38 NiCrMo4UNI 7845 steel, hardened and tempered with 25-30 micron thick hard chrome deposit (surface hardness of the shaft not yet treated HRC 55/60)
Piston Ø 36 mm with two independent reed valves, one in compression and one in extension
New lamellar system in harmonic steel that allows for extremely precise calibration
Piston guide shoe type LUBRIFLON-PTFEB70 (modified compound filled with bronze)
Sliding on DU GUIDE bush (compound obtained by sintering a layer of spheroidal bronze on a suitably pressed mild steel strip and with subsequent impregnation and coating of a PTFE+FB mixture)
SEALTHANE Grade 9345 Polyester Resin Scraper Ring
Micrometric adjustment of the spring pre-load via rings
Pre-selectable 24-position hydraulic rebound damping adjustment
Adjustment of the hydraulic compression damping pre-selectable on 10 positions
Special oil with low viscosity and practically insensitive to temperature variations
External compensation tank that allows an increase in the quantity of internal fluids
Given the technical characteristics indicated above, it can be seen that these special racing shock absorbers are the maximum technological expression available for sale to the public today.
