Centrifugal clutch group complete with bell for RACING scooters
System composed of the famous:
- patented adjustable clutch ( Delta Clutch )
- plus the reinforced anti-explosion bell ( Wing Clutch Bell ) with dynamically balanced cooling fins, designed for competitive and sporting use.
Delta Clutch
Delta Clutch is a clutch born in the scooter racing environment and quickly became the reference tool, indispensable for tuning vehicles.
The simplicity of the system allows for the tension of the spring opposing the centrifugal force to be adjusted in a very short time and the possibility of replacing the spring itself with others having a different K, available in the Malossi catalogue.
The other prerogative is that of varying the position of the mass which determines the pressure of the friction material against the internal wall of the bell and even of replacing the mass itself with another of a different weight.
The entire system is covered by a patent to protect the product from counterfeiters and copyists who shamelessly try to circumvent the invention with every trick.
Over time, Delta has gained recognition from all the most qualified technicians and the facts demonstrate this, as it is adopted by all racing teams and by a vast clientele of sportsmen, who record a continuous increase in sales.
As is natural for Malossi, the product has always been monitored throughout its development: Delta has been gradually optimised with small but important adjustments to keep the product always at the forefront.
It is important to know that asbestos has never been used in Malossi clutches and we are proud of this, and it is clear that to reach the current levels of quality and reliability, the company has had to invest heavily in research, especially on friction materials, and can now confidently state that it is in possession of exclusive formulas for producing materials resistant to high temperatures, capable of maintaining the friction coefficient unchanged even when subjected to prolonged stress.

Technical Features
- Bell in DC04 mild steel, obtained by cold stamping.
- Central hub in carbon steel obtained from bar stock and brought back by TIG welding.
- Soft nitriding thermochemical treatment.
- Finned reinforcement ring in carbon steel obtained by chip removal with burnished surface treatment, fitted with interference fit.
- 100% dynamic balancing.
Given the strong interest in these two items, we thought it would be nice for our customers to offer a box containing both products.
This allows Malossi to provide two quality products in one package and at a slightly lower price.
