Scooter Racing Malossi exhausts have been designed and manufactured with a single objective: to achieve the highest possible performance in combination with the cylinder for which they were designed . Each evolutionary step of Malossi exhaust systems is the result of fluid dynamic studies capable of determining with absolute precision the ideal shapes and dimensions of Scooter Racing exhausts.
Only perfect exhausts characterized by absolute homogeneity of production can boast the Malossi crest. The production technology, in fact, is common to all Scooter Racing and the only differences between them are found exclusively in the fractionation of the cones .
All Scooter Racing exhausts are made from sheet metal with an exact and constant thickness of 0.8mm , they are laser cut , welded with maniacal precision and equipped with a calibrating nozzle whose dimensions comply with the very strict tolerances necessary to ensure that the pressure inside the exhaust always remains at the correct values.
The development of Scooter Racing exhausts proceeds hand in hand with that of Malossi cylinders and to obtain maximum performance it is essential to always match the exhaust to the cylinder for which it was designed .
All Racing Scooters are equipped with an aluminium silencer, anodised Nitro blue .
MHR TEAM 3 and MHR BIG BORE Ø 52
MHR Team 3 and MHR Big Bore Ø 52 are the NEW names of the Scooter Racing exhausts intended for the Testa Rossa Flanged Mount cylinders, 70 and 94cc respectively, and are characterised by a totally new cone profile, now facing upwards, and by an even more dynamic look.
Malossi engineers have achieved a considerable increase in power and have concentrated particularly on rounding out its range of use, in order to broaden its field of action and find an effective set-up more quickly. The engine speed allowed has been increased and expresses maximum power values around 14,100 rpm for the 70cc, and 13,800 rpm for the 94cc .
The cylinder attachment system features a four-hole light alloy connection , designed to allow perfect passage of the exhaust gases, optimizing their fluid-dynamic flow. This solution descends directly from the one adopted by the MHR Team 2 exhausts, while it is a completely new solution for the Big Bore Ø 52 version.
The connection system of the Nitro blue anodized aluminum silencer has also been simplified, now connected to the muffler expansion thanks to an elegant and lightweight system with just one fixing screw.
